Manchester and Climate Change: the candidates' debate

On Thursday 24th April, from 7.30pm, four people representing the four political parties with seats on Manchester City Council will debate about Climate Change.  Is the Council taking the right actions?  If not, what should it be doing instead?

Each speaker will be given 5 minutes to make their opening remarks. The moderator of the debate will then pose different questions to the speakers.  Then the moderator will pose questions that have been asked by audience members.

The debate will take place at the Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St, central Manchester (behind the Central Library)

MCF will produce a booklet for the event with information on each party's position, the council's strategy and action that individuals and groups are taking on climate change in Manchester

The evening is free to attend, but we will be shaking a bucket and hoping to get a gold coin or two out of everyone.
