Every
third Wednesday Manchester Climate Forum hosts a meeting at the
Friends Meeting House. It's a great opportunity for you to;

find out new info
about Manchester and Climate Change

talk with other
people who are concerned about the issues

plan to do things

find out what is
going on locally
-
tell other people
about what you are doing, and how they can get involved

Opening
session about a local
topic + Q and A.
Short
break for stretching
legs & recharging brain
Brainstorming
in small groups around important questions, with emphasis on what's
to be DONE.
“Round
up” of current
campaigns, upcoming events and requests for help.

This
meeting is the first of several under the banner "Third Wednesdays,"
because they are, um, held on the third Wednesday of the month.
Monthly
evening meetings at the
Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St from 7pm to 9.15pm,
designed to give certain
'hard to get' information and then offer space for discussion/debate,
followed by coercive mingling, networking and brainstorming.

the Meetings

Act as a central
meeting point for the diverse climate/green campaigners of (Greater)
Manchester.

point for “curious bystanders” who (might) want to get involved

opportunities for individuals to learn new skills in facilitation,
publicity, public speaking
