March 1st Volunteer Tasks


"Old hands" "New volunteers"
Facilitating workshops (prev experience required)
Taking minutes (neat handwriting or willingness to type up!)
Take photos (with the permission of those people in the shot!)
Collecting money off them
Making teas and coffees, glasses of juice etc

 Before the day starts (from 9.30am)
Sticking up programmes
Sticking session listings on doors of rooms
Sticking up posters

Greeting people
Giving them name badges
Giving them a programme
Answering "where is X and Y " questions
Tidying up after sessions

End of day
Ushering people towards the 4pm session
Tidying up the other rooms
Collecting "how the day went" forms
Final 'sweep'

NB You will not be asked to do any tasks that are in any way dangerous. If you feel unable to perform a task, for whatever reason, please say so, and we will try to find different work for you to do
